Technician Issue Update

ANNOUNCEMENT:
To all users,
We regret to inform you that the database technicians have informed us as a garantee all files before the 13th November 2008 are wiped cleared and cannot be brought back. We apologise for this major inconvinience as this issue was out of our capabilities. Therfore we have forwarded the back clearance of any files uploaded before 13th november to be cleared from the database as this links to no real file.
However as a sympathetic jesture, we will increase all your storage sizes and the limit of folders. We will be working on increasing the file size and other posible new features in the near future.

Technical Issues

IMPORTANT INFORMTATION: It seems at our data center, the technicians had made some essential maintainence but however they did not create a backup of our files. There seems to be some technical issues of where our data has been placed.
We regret to inform you, any files uploaded before the 13th November 2008, are misplaced by the data center technicians and they are making their best efforts to locate them. However we have to deem them as lost data so we personally give a formal apology to all our users. It is out of our power to retrieve the lost data.
Please remember to keep a backup of all your files on your local computer system. We will be wiping our systems clear and starting all over again as a result of this issue. The reformating of FileBucket will take place on the 22nd November 2008 at 9PM BST/GMT. If you have any files uploaded that were uploaded after the 13th November 2008, then please download them now and keep them on your local systems. We urge all our users not to upload anything between now and that date as after that date, all your files will be wiped.

Update: Yes, thats right! FileBucket has gotten a face lift. Its been tweaked here and there over the past few weeks to make it more vibrant but not overwhelming in colours. You may have also noticed the FileBucket logo in the top corner has also been modernised.

Size Per File - 100MB!
Storage Space - 400MB
Bandwidth (monthly) - 20GB
File Type's - Nearly all file type's are allowed with some exceptions (in the case of an exception file type, please upload it in a compressed file format [rar] if needed).
User Feature:
Talk to another registered user over the UserCP PMing System. Get your friends and family to register and set them as either a friends/family contact. Create new folders with Gallery capability and put it on Public, Hide, Private or even only your registered friends/family can view that folder.
Reporting:
Please send all reports of users/files to: reports@filebucket.net with the SUBJECT title "FileBucket Report" and also the link and reason of the report.

As you can see we have brought a new addition to the FileBucket network. The Forum is a place where our users can register freely and descuss any issues, ideas or just general banter with selected FileBucket Support Staff or other FileBucket Users.
The Forum was only created today (3rd January 08) so that explains the lack of categories on the forum. Other than that we will keep improving to a higher standard in the service of our users.
